Salam and Hi,
This is my first day of my thirteen thousandth slimming effort. I hope I don't anymore make it a 'hangat-hangat taik ayam' thing. I need to be slim, not just want. I broke my back last month, and because of my 91kg weight, the pain does not go away even after repair-surgery had been done. My doctor, my husband, my children, everybody aroung me had been encouraging me along, but simply the sight of delicious tempting food drools me away.
My long term target is to have a normal weight of at most 60kg. That's 31kg to lose. But I'll do it slowly, my short term target (until 2009 new year's eve) is to trim down to 82kg. I need to be realistic. I can be considered an OKU now, because I can no longer jump, jog, or do sit-ups due to my back injury, so I'll go slow..it's ok, at least it's 10% of my current weight. Hey, 10% can really improve my well-being right?
By the way, 'makcikyam' doesn't mean my name is Yam. My name is Liza, my daughter's name is Maryam, we call her Cikyam, so there..
